TCL launches Full-range of New 8K & 4K QLED TVs in India
TCL Electronics is ready to acquaint the Indian audience with an immersive TV viewing experience in 2020. It has now launched its 8K QLEDTV and 4K QLED TV with Hands-Free voice control. This year, following safe distancing measures, the brand hosted a live streaming of its launch on 18th June via its social media handles on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
As part of the latest additions, the company has introduced the much-awaited 75 inch X915 8K QLED Android TV with IMAX Enhanced and Pop-up camera, and with Dolby Vision® ultra-vivid imaging and Dolby Atmos® immersive audio, the first 8K QLED of its kind in India. Its 4K QLED additions- C815 and C715, also come loaded with the world-leading Quantum Dot Display technology. Quantum Dots, when struck by light, will emit the most finely-tuned RMB colors, helping the TV to display billions of colors, reproduce 100% DCI-P3, and maintain a longer lifespan of the display up to 60,000 hours.It further upscales non-8K content to 8K performance with its AI 8K Processor. Other than these features, the all-new TVs are powered by Hands-Freevoice control and a separate Onkyo soundbar with IMAX Enhanced, DTS and Dolby Atmos®immersive audio for premium audio output. To enable TV-based calling, the brand has also equipped its 8K model with a built-in pop-up camera which ascends and descends automatically when prompted by the user. TCL’s latest 8K QLED 75X915 priced at the market stands at INR 2, 99, 990.
4K QLED Series
C815, premium 4K QLED TV with built-in Subwoofer is available at a starting range of INR 69,990 and comes in three variants: 55-inch (69,990 INR), 65-inch (99,990 INR) and 75-inch (1,49,990 INR). The TV offers 4K QLED display, Quantum Dot technology, Dolby Vision &Dolby Atmos, HDR 10+, 120 Hz MEMC (65’’ inch and above)for smoother motion and making action-packed scenes look crisper, and Onkyo integrated soundbar, built-in subwoofer with Dolby Atmos to elevate the sound experience.
C715,entry-level 4K QLED TV with Hands-free AI, is available in three variants: 50-inch (45,990 INR), 55-inch (55,990 INR) and 65-inch (79,990 INR). Starting INR 45,990, this powerful device also features 4K resolution, quantum dot display, Dolby Vision &Dolby Atmos with hands-free voice control, 180 degree voice receptor to guarantee precise voice recognition, more – making it a premium offering in the new-age smart TV segment.

TCL is going for long haul competition to introduce the best of TV technology within India. The brand has recently setup a manufacturing plant worth Rs. 2,400 crore at Tirupati as part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
