XKL Announces Wi-Fi Infrastructure Solution that Boosts Capacity for Fiber to Wi-Fi Networks

Networking

XKL LLC announces a new Wi-Fi infrastructure solution based on its DQT10 transponder, providing a point-to-multi-point topology solution for fiber-to-wireless hybrid networks. This solution enables educational organizations, municipalities, and enterprises that deploy Wi-Fi networks to extend their reach up to 80km with up to 36 wireless access points per 1RU system, enabling growth and enhanced flexibility.

New technologies will dramatically improve existing wireless and fiber infrastructures by increasing data speeds, enabling faster video downloads, lowering latencies, and offering enhanced levels of security and reliability. And as organizations leverage disruptive technologies, such as IoT and smart cities, their wireless and fiber infrastructures must support computing bandwidth demand in real time.

“Data growth is hitting record levels and networks must be prepared to accommodate,” comments Chad Lamb, XKL’s Chief Systems Architect. “XKL focuses on driving results for our customers through personalized customer engagement and our highly flexible suite of products. With our new Wi-Fi enhancement solution, we prepare organizations to be data-driven, and fortify their networks to adapt to today’s technologies, while paving the way for future innovations.”
