Ultimate Sun Systems appoints Sabyasachi Pattanaik as Vice President – Business Development

Ultimate Sun Systems, a solar PV system integrator, developer, and pioneer in the renewable energy segment that deals in solutions, which are environment friendly, energy efficient, and cost effective, ropes in industry veteran, appoints Sabyasachi Pattanaik as Vice President – Business Development.

The seasoned professional has 18.5+ years of all-round experience in Infrastructure, Energy, and Power industries. He is skilled in international/strategic business development, sales & marketing, solution and project sales, policy advocacy, strategic alliance, brand management, and team management.

Sabyasachi previously served as the Head of Business Strategy, Development, Sales & Marketing at GP Green Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. (A partner of Güssing Renewable Energy, Austria). While here, he was involved in new business development, brand building strategies, and identification & segregation of potential market segments for the EPC Company. He was also involved in providing end-to-end solution from concept to commissioning for EPC Turn-key projects. Furthermore, he played a key role in closing a contract worth INR 15 crore, apart from building a pipeline worth INR 26 crore during the FY 2015-16.

In his new role, Sabyasachi oversees new business development, and is also responsible for driving overall marketing & sales strategies. Apart from that, he is actively involved in fund raising, developing equity partnerships, and forming strategic alliances.
