SMT Welcomes Bhargav Kotadia as CEO, Building on Strong Legacy
SMT, a global leader in cardiovascular medical devices, today announced the appointment of Mr. Bhargav Kotadia as its CEO and Mr. Jose Calle Gordo (‘Pepe’) as the Chairman effective April 1st 2025.
Mr. Bhargav Kotadia succeeds Mr. Ganesh Sabat, who has played an instrumental role in SMT’s growth journey over the past 12 years. Mr. Sabat’s leadership has been pivotal in expanding SMT’s global footprint, strengthening its innovation pipeline, and fostering a high-performance culture. Mr. Dhirajlal Kotadia, SMT’s Founder and Chairman, will take on the role of Chairman Emeritus, continuing to provide strategic guidance while Mr. Jose Calle Gordo (‘Pepe’) will assume the role of Chairman, working closely with Mr. Kotadia to drive SMT’s next phase of growth.
