Rahul Datta, Head of Marketing for PC business at HP has decided to move on from the company to join Microsoft India as Director, Marketing. He has delivered some of the most prominent ad campaigns in India, along with his amazing team of marketers. The most iconic campaign of his career is ‘The Amma ki Diwali’, which has topped the charts for the last 3 years and still continues to be circulated every Diwali.
Some of its recent works on Gaming and Premium PC have helped HP building connections with its customers.
Rahul has worked in HP for 3.5 years and has led the marketing team for Xbox at Microsoft in India for 5 years. Datta has also worked for 3 years for Tata Teleservices Limited. He has marketing experience of 18 years in managing lifestyle tech brands like Microsoft Xbox, HP, and Tata. He is an Indian Institute of Planning and Management alumnus.
Rahul Datta is passionate about social e-commerce, gaming, and modern marketing concepts. He is an expert in mixing digital and traditional media strategies for creating smooth experiences for modern consumers in India. His work has won many international and local accolades.
