Q. What ranges of products and solutions do you have and what is your latest offering for SME’s / SMB’s?

Unistal covers vast range of data recovery, data security, and data care products. Our product Protegent, Quick Recovery and data care range are now well accepted by small and medium enterprises. Recently we have added Activity Reporter for Android, which is specially designed for tablet and smart phones.

Q. Please put some light on your distribution model and what is your Channel Strategy for 2013?

Unistal and HCL’s Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services have already announced their strategic partnership for the distribution of Unistal’s entire product range. According to contract, DDMS will be the national distributor for Unistal to promote and sell its complete range of antivirus, data security, data recovery and data care products. Under this program, Unistal will target metros, Tier II and Tier III cities to strengthen its presence across India.

Q. What are the key verticals you are primarily targeting?

Unistal is targeting key PSU & Government organizations in this financial year. The company is focusing on state government bodies, nodal agencies, and ministries. This apart the company is strengthening its OEM business.

Q. Please let us know some important feature of “Activity Reporter for Android” for Tablets?

Unistal has recently launched Activity Reporter for Android. The software can capture every activity of the tablet and can generate reports on a regular basis. The product helps in keeping a vigil check on the applications & websites visited, monitors all incoming & outgoing calls, manages E-mail, SMS, and GPS logs. With this product, you can blacklist the application or internet site which you want to monitor. It will generate reports for a particular application or website. It supports Operating System – Android 2.3.7 (Ginger Bread) to Latest version of Android (4.2.2 Jelly Bean).

Q. What’s your future plan and program for the Indian market?

Unistal is planning to launch its low edition Antivirus and Internet security products under the Protegent range. The company is all set to release these products in the month of August. The company is investing heavily in digital marketing to establish the brand Protegent. Soon you will find a lot of promotional activities in social media sites like Facebook, twitter, YouTube and Linkedin.
