In a bid to tap unexplored IT market in West Bengal, Rashi Peripherals, India’s only Value Added Distributor (VAD) and Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), leading motherboard manufacturer, conducted its flagship “ECS Channel Connect” event in Kolkata. The objective of the event was to create ECS brand awareness among channel partners and showcase the latest series of motherboards and Liva Mini PCs.
West Bengal is the fastest growing IT market in the Eastern region. Infrastructure development, industrialization, and connectivity have triggered the demand for IT in the State. The State Government’s proactive steps to build a comprehensive IT ecosystem has positively impacted the industry. According to Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the IT sector is growing at 16% with employment growth rate of 8% annually in West Bengal. The rising electronic clusters, IT education institutions, IT parks and Startup Warehouses have triggered tremendous demand for IT and hence, many world-renowned IT Companies are looking at this region as their next big business hub.

The pocket-sized mini-pc (measured at 70 x 70 x 31.4mm in size and weights 260g) features Intel Apollo Lake SOC processors, along with 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC storage and HDMI 2.0. The company announced attractive incentive schemes for partners during the event. Mr. Bhatt talked about the value proposition ECS offers to partners with its innovative product line and channel-centric initiatives.

During the event, we announced an aggressive scheme on motherboards for all our channel partners, where they will get an assured gift for selling 10 PCs a month. We are also running Diwali Promo scheme on our mini PC range – LIVA X, Z, ZE, Q and One, where partners can win foreign trips, iPhone X/Motor Bike and many more.
