McAfee Honours Partners with Awards for Excellence in Security

McAfee, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity companies, has announced the winners of its distinguished McAfee Channel Partner Awards 2017 for India and Asia Pacific at the company’s MPOWER and Partner Summit event, held at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

The awards recognise partners who demonstrated the embodiment of three foundational pillars of the McAfee Partner Program: strategic relationships, profitable partnerships and driving better customer outcomes.

McAfee’s MPOWER Cyber Security summit marked the first time the series (previously entitled FOCUS) came to the Asia Pacific region. MPOWER took place at Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC) and was designed to tackle a diverse range of security-related themes relevant to all types and sizes of industry.

An impressive line-up of engaging and inspiring speakers educated and challenged a delegate audience of over 750 technology professionals and their peers, including CISO’s, IT managers, security analysts, security architects, managing directors along with technical and non-technical consultants ranging from some of the region’s largest corporations, through to SMEs and start-ups.

The Partner Summit event provided a platform for direct participation amongst channel partners where they could share feedback, discussions, strategies and insights on the security industry landscape. This year, partners from 14 countries and 26 cities across APAC attended the event.

Partners received a range of awards based on their commitment to McAfee’s business strategy including, building strong ecosystems, dedication to customers, demonstration of technical efficiency and successful buildout of managed services.
