MediaTek Empower Indian Retailers on Smartphones & Smart Device Ecosystem with Retailer Education Program

MediaTek, a global fabless semiconductor company powering over 2 billion connected devices a year, has announced the successful roll-out and completion of its annual retailer education program for 2025. The campaign focused on key cities such as Delhi/NCR, Guwahati, and Indore, aiming to raise awareness and educate retailers about premium and flagship technologies powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 5G Series.

This program also educated retailers about the full range of MediaTek chipsets, emphasizing their capabilities in smartphones and various smart devices, including smart speakers, Wi-Fi routers, Chromebooks, and TVs. Retailers learned about popular MediaTek-powered smartphones and the latest integrated technologies, including 5G, AI, camera enhancements, video streaming, and gaming advancements, among others.

MediaTek has established a dominant position in the Indian smartphone market, with over a 50 percent market share, according to reports. MediaTek is also making strides into the flagship and premium segments with its impressive chipsets, including the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, Dimensity 8350, and Dimensity 8400. Powering a wide range of devices, from flagship to mainstream smartphones and Smart IoT devices, MediaTek chips are driving the latest innovations in leading brands like OPPO, vivo, Samsung, Xiaomi, POCO, Tecno, iMin, Motorola, Realme, LAVA, among others.

As part of the education drive, MediaTek also conducted an interactive discussion with retailers, a seminar for the key retailers and shared key details regarding the MediaTek chipsets and technologies. MediaTek’s on-ground promoters also visited key retailers to educate them about the premium and flagship capabilities of MediaTek technologies. The Retailer Education Program would reach to an extensive number of retailers with various online and on-ground interactive engagements, besides boosting awareness around MediaTek’s incredible smartphone capabilities.
